About Us

Little Explorer Learning Academy is a licensed family child care program located in Prince George's County, Maryland, serving infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children in a structured, nurturing learning environment.

With over a decade of experience in early childhood education, our program is designed to provide children with the strong foundation they need for future academic success. We believe that young children learn best through a balance of intentional instruction, hands-on experiences, guided exploration, and meaningful play.

Each day includes structured learning opportunities focused on early literacy, foundational math skills, fine motor development, social-emotional growth, and school readiness. Learning experiences are carefully planned to align with children's developmental needs while encouraging curiosity, confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

As a Maryland EXCELS Level 3 recognized program, Little Explorer Learning Academy is committed to continuous quality improvement and maintaining high standards in early childhood education. We utilize ongoing observation and developmental assessments to monitor progress and guide individualized learning experiences that support each child's unique strengths and abilities.

We are also a member of the National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC), a nationally recognized organization dedicated to supporting quality family child care programs through professional development, best practices, and high standards of care. Membership in NAFCC reflects our commitment to remaining current with developments in the early childhood field and continuously strengthening the quality of our program.

We value strong partnerships with families and believe that open communication and collaboration play an important role in a child's success. Families receive regular updates regarding their child's growth, developmental milestones, and learning experiences.
