Meals

Little Explorer Learning Academy participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), which helps ensure that children receive nutritious, well-balanced meals throughout the day.

Children are provided with breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack while in care. Meals are planned to meet USDA nutritional guidelines and include a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, dairy products, and protein-rich foods that support healthy growth and development.

We believe that healthy eating habits begin in early childhood. Mealtimes provide opportunities for children to practice independence, develop social skills, explore new foods, and learn healthy eating habits in a positive environment.

Families receive monthly menus detailing the meals and snacks served throughout the month. Reasonable accommodations can be made for documented food allergies and dietary restrictions.

Our goal is to provide nutritious meals that support children's learning, growth, and overall well-being throughout the day.
